Here some of the latest solutions introduced by Nordic for this market:

• Presenting new nRF9151 SiP: pre-certified Cellular IoT module (NB-IoT/LTE-M, GPS) capable of DECT NR+ for Private Non-Cellular 5G Networks.  Designed for increased supply chain resilience, boasting a significant footprint reduction of 20%, compared to its predecessor. It is the ideal component for adding long range connectivity to meters and street lighting solutions.

• Presenting new nRF54L15 SoC: Ideal platform for Bluetooth 6, Matter 1.3 (including Energy clusters), 2.4 GHz Mesh (Thread, Bluetooth Mesh, proprietary) or to combine with other 3rd party technologies like LoRa. It features lower power consumption and advanced security features (Designed for PSA Certified Level 3), suitable for critical infrastructure.

• Presenting new nRF54H20 SoC. Thanks to multicore architecture and generous memory resources, it is ideal for more advanced end-devices (including Machine Learning /Artificial Intelligence) or gateways applications. The separate Radio Core and extra RISC V cores provide power to efficiently allocate processing power, without losing radio performances.

• Presenting the nR7002 Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 Companion IC. It can be combined with Nordic SoC to add seamless Wi-Fi connectivity and to easily combine it with other technologies (Bluetooth LE, Matter, Thread). Nordic provides native support also for Linux Host and 3rd party host MCUs running Zephyr RTOS.
